We were inspired by the long life of an LED lamp. Its burning time of almost ten years makes it possible to create a lamp you never need to change the bulb of. The inner dome softens the light and creates the illusion of a lamp without a bulb, blurring the boundary between lightsource and lampshade.
I first saw it this summer and I was totally determined to buy it, 'cause it was something that I really wanted. I thought it was nice because it is napkins. But I never bought it then. I think it's adorable, and then I often have a bit of a cold. I've also been rather sad during this past year. So then it's nice to do something nice out of crying. So that crying becomes something positive.
