Why is it so difficult to distinguish between a CD player and a VCR?
We wanted to create unusual designs for ordinary objects. Loudspeakers as a crystal vase, MP3 players carved in wood, an answering machine in silicone shaped like a lamp hanging from the ceiling, CD player of glass and a digital clock included in the wallpaper.
Sometimes an object produced in a new material and shape make us use it in a different way.
Vases in movies are doomed to break- it's a part of the vases function. We made a vase with a built in fall, where the motion is one with the object.
